How do I troubleshoot Eduroam on Windows?

If you're having trouble connecting, you may need to manually set up or adjust the Eduroam wireless profile in your Network Settings. Follow these steps to configure Eduroam on Windows:

  1. Open Network Sharing Center > Manage Wireless Networks.
  2. If Eduroam is visible, right-click and select Properties.
    • If not, click Add to create it.
  3. Use these settings:
    • Network name: eduroam
    • Security: WPA2-Enterprise
    • Encryption: AES
  4. Go to Change connection settings.
  5. In Security, set Microsoft: Protected EAP (PEAP).
  6. Click Settings:
    • Uncheck Validate Server Certificate.
    • Under Authentication Method > Configure, uncheck Automatically use my Windows logon.
  7. Click OK on all windows to save changes.
  8. Try reconnecting to Eduroam.

Tip: Always click OK to save changes -don't close with the X.
