What is a Consortium Agreement?
A Consortium Agreement is a contract between both schools that allows you to use financial aid from UMGC for eligible courses at the host institution. If you're enrolled at UMGC and plan to take a course at another school, a Consortium Agreement allows you to use your financial aid and ensures the course counts toward your UMGC degree.
Note: You only need this agreement if you're using financial aid. If you're not, it's not required.
