How do I complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN)?
To receive federal student loans, you must complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN) by following the steps below:
- Visit StudentAid.gov.
- Log in using your FSA ID and password.
- Select the type of loan you're accepting (Subsidized/Unsubsidized or Graduate PLUS).
- Follow the steps to complete and sign your MPN online.
- Once submitted, UMGC will be notified electronically.
