How do I check the status of transcripts sent to UMGC?

To check your transcript status:

  1. Navigate to your Student Portal > Academic Records.
  2. Select Academic History
  3. Click on Previous Education
  4. View transcripts in the table

Important: You can only see if a transcript was received. To view the actual transcript, contact the sending institution.

Delivery Times:

  • Mail or parcel service: ~10 business days to arrive; ~3 business days to process
  • Electronic transcripts: Received within 2 business days; ~3 business days to process
  • Some transcripts, especially international, may take longer.

Transcript Status Definitions:

  • Received: Transcript was received on the displayed date
  • Desired: Transcript has not been received yet
  • Multiple received rows may appear for a single transcript due to processing

If your transcript isn't received within the expected timeframe, check with the sending institution to confirm when it was sent.
