How can I find out if I'm eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill?
To determine if you're eligible for the Post 9/11 GI Bill:
- Contact the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for eligibility information.
- After registering for classes, log in to MyUMGC and go to the Veteran Certification section under Finances to request certification.
- Select your current semester and complete the certification form.
Important Notes
- The VA sends payments directly to UMGC for eligible students.
- If you're not 100% eligible, any remaining balance after the VA payment will be your responsibility.
