Your dependency status is set by your FAFSA information. If you have unusual circumstances, you can ask to have it reviewed by submitting an Unusual Circumstances Appeal form.
Follow the steps on the UMGC Professional Judgement Appeal webpage under Unusual Circumstances Appeal Process. Incomplete appeals will not be reviewed.
