How do I buy books using a voucher?
To purchase books using a book allowance, you must order through Barnes & Noble College (formerly MBS Direct):
- Online: Use your voucher ID and student ID (sent via email)
- Phone: Call 800-325-3252 and provide your student ID
Book vouchers can only be used at umgc.edu/bookstore.
Requests may be denied for any of the following reasons:
- Financial aid already disbursed
- Not enough or no pending financial aid
- Book allowance already requested this semester
- Term not yet open or already closed
- Student is not a UMGC stateside student (UMGC Europe or Asia students are not eligible)
