How do I borrow items not owned by the UMGC Library?
If the UMGC Library doesn't have the materials you need, you can borrow them through DocumentExpress. DocumentExpress is an interlibrary loan service. It allows us to borrow book chapters or obtain journal articles from another library on behalf of a patron when we do not own the material.
Books from USMAI Book Search
UMGC students, faculty, and staff can borrow available physical books and other items from any University System of Maryland and Affiliated Institution library. Books must be picked up and returned locally to a USM lending library. See our Circulation Policy for more details.
