Am I eligible for an application fee exception or waiver?
You may waive the application fee in certain situations:
- You’ve already paid the fee for a previous UMGC application.
- You’re transferring between UMGC locations (Stateside, Europe, or Asia).
- You are a UMGC employee, or the spouse/dependent of one.
- You’re applying through an approved partnership with your school or employer.
- You’re a visiting student from another University System of Maryland school.
- You’re taking classes through a consortium agreement with an overseas school.
- You’re a new military student stationed overseas using tuition assistance.
UMGC also offers Application Fee Waivers during certain promotions, events, or through scholarship opportunities.
