What happens after I submit the Veterans Certification?
If you're using Chapter 33 (Post-9/11 GI Bill) or Chapter 31 (Veteran Readiness and Employment):
- UMGC will place a non-disenrollment hold on your account while waiting for payment from the VA.
- If you're using Chapter 31, please stay in touch with your VA case manager about your VA Authorization Form.
If you're using any other chapter:
- You'll receive a monthly stipend directly from the VA.
- The amount depends on your training time (full-time, half-time, etc.).
- You'll need to pay tuition and fees at the time of registration.
