How do I add a post to a discussion in LEO?

  1. From the course home page, select Content.
  2. Click the Unit module and then Discussion.
    • Alternate path: Activities and Assessments > Discussions (not recommended, may skip steps).
  3. Review instructions, then click Go to Discussion.
  4. Read the topic carefully, noting deadlines and rubrics.
  5. To respond, click Start a New Thread and add a subject.
  6. To reply, click Reply to Thread.
  7. Type or paste your message in the editor.
  8. Click Post or Save as Draft (not available for replies).
  9. To edit, click the drop-down arrow next to the subject line and select Edit Thread.
  10. To attach a file, click Add attachments and choose:
    • Drop files in the box
    • Upload from your computer
    • Record Audio
    • Choose Existing (My Locker or Group Locker)

Note: No email confirmation is sent. Check MyTools > Class Progress to confirm submission. Posts can be edited but not deleted.
