How do I accept or decline my financial aid awards?

If you plan to use federal loans, accept your aid as soon as possible.

  1. Log in to MyUMGC and go to Finances > Financial Aid.
  2. Click OK on the pop-up to open your Financial Aid page in a new tab.
  3. Select the correct Aid Year in the top-left corner.
  4. Click Go to Accept/Decline/Edit Aid to view your awards.
  5. Choose an option: 
    • Accept All: Accept all available awards
    • Decline All: Decline all available awards
    • Reset All: Start over if needed
  6. To manage awards individually, use the drop-down menu under the Offered Decision column.
  7. Click the blue Submit button, then confirm Yes. A green banner will confirm your request.
