Biography

Christine N. Buff is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in sociology at UMGC. She works as a crisis counselor while attending to her family, schoolwork, and small business. Her educational goals are to graduate and attend graduate school to earn a doctoral degree in clinical psychology to help those struggling with depression, PTSD, and other mental health issues. She works in her community organizing food drives, helping the homeless, and aiding her neighbors when they need help. Christine is an avid advocate in the autism community in the Calvert County school district and is learning the skills needed to help her children on the spectrum. She works hard and in her spare time has an art business, Buff Bird Creative Designs, which she co-owns and where she etches glass and creates custom artworks.

All these things are small parts of what make up Christine Buff. She is earnest in advocating for the rights and needs of others, strong in her convictions, and genuine in her actions for the betterment of others.
