Virtual career fairs can feel intimidating, especially when you’re unsure what to expect. This webinar is designed to help students and alumni feel more confident, prepared, and comfortable engaging with employers in the Virtual Recruiter Session. Participants will learn practical strategies to manage nerves, make meaningful connections in an online career fair environment and how to position yourself as a strong candidate.
You will learn how to:
- Set realistic and informed expectations for virtual recruiter interactions
- Navigate the Virtual Recruiter Session with clear goals and strategy
- Use the employer matrix to identify aligned organizations and roles
- Leverage platform features (leave-a-message, briefcase, follow-up) to extend engagement beyond the live session
- Approach virtual career fairs as a professional networking opportunity
