Career Advising Specialists will walk you through everything you need to know to feel confident and prepared—from navigating the platform to connecting with employers. Whether you're attending your first virtual fair or looking to sharpen your approach, this session will equip you with the tools to stand out. In this session, you'll learn:
- How to prepare effectively for the Virtual Career Fair
- Best practices for navigating the virtual platform with ease
- Strategies for making a strong impression in a virtual setting
- Insights into participating employers and what they’re looking for
- Tips for following up and maintaining professional connections after the fair
- This session is open to all with a focus on IT and Cyber majors.
This event is exclusive to UMGC Alumni, Students, and UMGC Staff/Faculty.
