Dale Dye

On January 14, we featured Dale Dye, a producer, actor, author, retired U.S. Marine and UMGC alumnus. Dale is the founder of a rigorous boot camp approach for film and television and has guided landmark projects including Platoon, Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, and The Masters of Air and the Pacific. Blending his battlefield experience with literary craft to mentor creators and help audiences understand the devotion to service behind every uniform. Dale helps champion storytelling that inspires the next generation of filmmakers and viewers.

Ronnette Meyers

On January 28, we featured Ronnette Meyers, the founder and CEO of JLAN Solutions, LLC, a certified Woman-Owned, HUBZone, and 8(a) government contracting firm named after her children. A UMGC alumna and former military kid raised in Germany, she learned early lessons in hard work and leadership while helping her mother with back-office tasks. She has earned the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for volunteer service, is a Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Scholar, and an SBA Emerging Leaders graduate. Ronnette is dedicated to mentorship, advocacy, and creating opportunities for others, exemplifying leadership rooted in empathy and action.
