Nancy Lynch Gibson, MA, LCPC is an adjunct assistant professor at University of Maryland Global Campus, where she teaches undergraduate courses on the psychology of gender and the psychology of stress.
Gibson is a licensed clinical professional counselor in the state of Maryland and has more than 25 years of experience working in the mental health field. She specializes in the treatment of trauma, working with a diverse population including homeless women, formerly incarcerated women, and survivors of violence. She has presented at numerous groups and workshops on mindfulness, stress management, and the treatment of trauma.
