Camelia Fawzy, DM, MBA, serves as portfolio director for the MBA, Innovation and Leadership programs at the UMGC School of Business, where she leads curriculum innovation, mentors faculty, and teaches graduate courses. She has more than 30 years of experience in entrepreneurship, management consulting, and nonprofit advisory work focused on advancing sustainable innovation and strengthening the resilience of businesses and mission-driven organizations. With more than 17 years of faculty experience teaching management, leadership, organizational development, and organizational behavior, Fawzy is committed to preparing professionals to lead resilient, inclusive, and high-performing organizations.
Following the completion of her Business-Higher Education Forum Fellowship in 2025, Fawzy is leading the development of UMGC’s Digital Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Hub, an initiative designed to connect founders with mentors, industry leaders, and institutional resources to strengthen early-stage ventures and accelerate their growth. Her work focuses on building a collaborative ecosystem that bridges academia, industry, and the for-profit and non-profit sectors to foster innovation, responsible leadership, and sustainable economic development.
Fawzy holds a DM and an MBA from University of Maryland Global Campus.
