Sabrina S. Fu, PhD
Portfolio Director, Environmental Programs
Sabrina S. Fu became the environmental program director at UMGC for in 2020, with the title change to portfolio director in 2024. In this capacity, she has overall responsibilities for the quality and delivery of the environmental portfolio.
Dr. Fu started her career at UMGC as an adjunct faculty at UMGC in 2001 and worked as subject matter expert and collegiate faculty, earning multiple awards from UMGC, the state of Maryland, and other organizations. In addition, Dr. Fu managed hazardous, mixed, and radioactive waste management, was a master watershed steward in Howard County, and has worked on climate actions and climate communications for over a decade. Dr. Fu earned her B.A. in Chemistry from Carleton College and her Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
