Philip Adams is a senior writer/editor in UMGC's Office of Strategic Enrollment Management. He joined UMGC in 2014 after an 18-year career as a marketing and communications professional. As a member of the editorial team, Adams has participated in the development and execution of successful marketing campaigns, including creating editorial content for print advertising, the UMGC website, social media, out-of-home advertising, event promotion, videos, and radio advertising.
In 2010, Adams won the Marketing Excellence Award for Best Print Effort from the Specialized Information Publishers Association. He is also a published novelist, a part-time musician, and a voiceover actor. Adams holds a bachelor's degree in music from James Madison University.
