Aaron Boner serves as an Assistant Director of Admissions at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC), bringing a decade of dedicated experience in higher education admissions. Since joining UMGC in August 2020, he has been instrumental in guiding prospective students through their enrollment journey, leveraging his comprehensive understanding of the admissions process.

Prior to his role at UMGC, Mr. Boner cultivated a robust background that includes extensive experience in college admissions dating back to 2014, complemented by valuable insights gained from consultative sales and marketing endeavors. This diverse professional history has equipped him with a unique blend of strategic communication and relationship-building skills, essential for fostering student success.

A committed member of the UMGC community, Mr. Boner also holds the distinguished position of Chair of the Adelphi Staff Advisory Council, where he advocates for staff interests and contributes to a positive campus environment.

Mr. Boner is an alumnus of UMGC, having earned his Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Human Resources from the institution. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. His academic background, coupled with his professional expertise, underscores his commitment to both personal and institutional excellence in higher education.
