Introduction to Geography

GEOG 100 | 3 Credits

Course Desc: An exploration of how geography is used to analyze, understand, and interpret our world. The goal is to use an interdisciplinary approach and a spatial perspective to analyze complex social issues. Emphasis is on using geospatial tools and concepts to investigate the interconnection of human and physical systems and their relationship to major global problems and prospects. Topics include globalization, climate change, population dynamics, cultural diversity, and ecological conservation.
