UMGC Global Media Center New Program Articles

As UMGC prepares to start its Fall 2025 term, several new programs and certificates will launch to prepare students in some of the fastest growing fields.

UMGC will launch an online undergraduate Certificate in Drones and Autonomous Systems in mid-August.

Innovative program awards academic credit based on experiences and skills that servicemembers gain as they rise through the ranks in the military.

The new program will offer specific areas of focus, including substance use, dependency and addictions; marriage and family counseling; child and adolescent counseling; military culture and family dynamics; gerontological counseling; and sex therapy.
