Master Sgt. Christina Mundy graduated summa cum laude with an MBA from UMGC. Mundy has served in the U.S. Air Force for the past 20 years and has completed three earlier degrees. She is the first person in her family to graduate from college.

During Mental Health Awareness Month, it is important to recognize that we are wired to survive. Our senses help us take in information all around us, allowing us to navigate our environment and adapt in order to survive. Another crucial way we have learned to survive our environment is through tuning into our emotions.

This month, Chassady Rosado graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from University of Maryland Global Campus. The former U.S. Army specialist will now pursue a new career as a project manager.

The College Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Center, owned by University of Maryland Global Campus, was named Outstanding Property of the Year for 2023 by the Maryland Hotel Lodging Association.

On her way to a UMGC degree in cybersecurity technology, Regiane Vazquez seized opportunity. Born and raised in Brazil, she embarked on an unexpected adventure more than 16 years ago, moving with her husband and son first to Puerto Rico and, shortly after, to Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

Sarah Beckett always knew she would become a nurse. But to get to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UMGC, she drew inspiration from her two daughters. London will graduate from Coppin State University and Raechel from Towson University.
