UMGC Student Veteran of the Year Technical Sgt. Marvin E. Lazo is playing a key role in upholding the quality of dental services within the Air Force.

UMGC faculty are guiding USNCC students who are taking an online introductory course offered by UMGC that lays out the opportunities available in cybersecurity and what it takes to earn a degree and succeed in the field.

The vast gallery showcasing exhibits by the Arts Program at University of Maryland Global Campus features a dramatic black-and-brown zigzagged carpet. Not so with the current retrospective, “Nelson Stevens: Color Rapping,” which runs through Jan. 8, 2023.

Michael Blattman, a longtime UMGC faculty member who spent the last several years teaching in Europe, returned to the states to teach two hybrid business courses this fall.

UMGC President Greg Fowler presented Attorney General Brian Frosh with the institution’s highest award, the UMGC President’s Medal. Frosh was honored for his leadership on cybersecurity-related policy issues and for his service to the state of Maryland.
