“We are pleased to join with Johnson County Community College and provide students with a seamless pathway toward a bachelor’s degree,” said Chris Motz, chief partnership officer at UMGC. “Through these types of alliances, the university is committed to supporting community college transfer students around the country in reaching their educational goals as affordably and efficiently as possible.”

JCCC students who complete their associate degree can now transfer a minimum of 60 credits when they enroll in UMGC bachelor’s degree programs in complementary fields of study. The new partnership promises JCCC graduates guaranteed admission to UMGC, waives UMGC’s application fee and discounts tuition by 25 percent. The terms of the partnership also cover employees, spouses and dependents of JCCC.

Our goal is to foster partnerships that help make those aspirations a reality.”
