Tuition and Billing for Dough & Degrees Students

Under the Dough & Degrees Program, Papa John's will cover a maximum of $5,250 per calendar year for undergraduate courses, calculated at a reduced tuition rate of $291 per credit. With the special Education Access tuition, this means you will be able to take up to 18 credits per year at no cost to you. You will be responsible for any charges not covered by your employer at the reduced Education Access rate.

If you enroll in Dough & Degrees, you must complete the EdAssist Letter of Credit for each term. Until this form is received and processed, you will be responsible for any charges.

Special Discount Program

Even if you’re not eligible for Dough & Degrees, you, your spouse, and your legal dependents may be eligible to receive a discount of up to 25 percent on out-of-state tuition for all undergraduate and standard graduate programs thanks to UMGC’s alliance with Bright Horizons EdAssist Solutions.

If you are enrolled in Dough & Degrees, your spouse and your legal dependents may still take advantage of the up to 25 percent out-of-state tuition discount. If you are not eligible for or choose not to enroll in Dough & Degrees, you can still take advantage of the discount program for eligible employees.

Tuition Discount Details

This discount will be applied to out-of-state tuition for eligible students in most programs.* This discount cannot be combined with certain scholarships or discount programs, including the Maryland Completion Scholarship, the Military New Graduate Student Savings Program, the Alumni Succeed Again Scholarship, and the discount for out-of-state community college alliances. Discounted tuition rates may not fall below the standard in-state rate or any special tuition rate offered to eligible activity-duty military servicemembers, their spouses, or dependents.
