Adelphi, Md. — Feb. 23, 2026 — University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) has named Daron Rodriguez, a veteran higher education enrollment and marketing leader, as senior vice president and chief marketing and enrollment officer. He begins his new position today.

At UMGC, Rodriguez will lead an integrated marketing and enrollment team to advance a learner-first strategy across brand and creative media, digital engagement, admissions and enrollment, and the prospective student journey.

“Daron has spent his career helping institutions strengthen the entire student journey by strengthening marketing, digital engagement, and enrollment operations,” said UMGC President Gregory W.
