University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) joined enlisted leaders from the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Space Force, and Japan Air Self-Defense Force at the Inter-Pacific Air Forces Academy at Yokota Air Base in Japan this fall. The weeklong symposium highlighted flexible degree programs and career-focused learning opportunities for military communities worldwide. Michael Powell, UMGC’s Site Lead for the Yokota Field Office, engaged directly with 80+ attendees, providing guidance on flexible education options tailored to service members’ operational demands.
