At the Achieving the Dream (ATD) Data & Analytics Summit on Sept. 17, UMGC faculty Reynaldo Garcia and Kathryn Thirolf shared a new opportunity for higher education professionals to advance their careers through the university’s Community College Data and Analytics Micro-credential program. Designed to meet the evolving needs of educational leaders, the program allows learners to demonstrate their competency in data and analytics to their employers and the marketplace through completion of the micro-credential.
Students who earn the micro-credentials may also earn partial credit towards UMGC’s Community College Policy and Administration (CCPA) doctoral program requirements should they choose to enroll in the doctoral program. The ATD summit welcomed several hundred professionals and explored how data can drive institutional transformation.
