Call for Entries: Second Biennial Maryland Regional Juried Art Exhibition University of Maryland Global Campus Arts Program Seeks Artists for Regional Exhibit that runs Nov. 3 – Jan. 26, 2014.

The University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) invites entries of works by all artists in Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. for the Second Biennial Maryland Regional Juried Art Exhibition, which will run from November 3 to January 26, 2014, in the UMGC Arts Program Gallery at the UMGC Inn and Conference Center (3501 University Blvd. East, Adelphi, Md.).

The deadline for submissions is August 11, 2013.

The biennial exhibition will have a full-color catalog with the works of all participants. Best-of-Show awardee receives solo exhibit in the 2014 season.

Jurors for the exhibition include:

  • Nona Martin, manager of public programs, Smithsonian American Art Museum
  • Faheem Majeed, artist and director, undergraduate studies, University of Illinois, Chicago’s Art and Design Department
  • Amy E. Raehse, executive director and curator, Goya Contemporary Art Gallery
