This signifies that the coursework taken is equivalent to CMIT 320 but had to be transferred in at a lower-level. In the case of CMIT 100-320, you may get credit for CMIT 320, unless your program requires a certain number of "higher-level" and "lower-level" credits.
* A course equivalent listed with “TR” (e.g., ACCT 116TR or ACCT 316TR) represents a non-direct equivalency in the specific discipline indicated. "116TR" signifies lower-level credit (100-299), and"316TR" signifies upper-level credit (300-499).
α A course with an LC designation denotes a "lecture" course.
β A course with an LB designation denotes a "lab" course.
Get Started & Register
Apply for admission to UMGC: Complete the online application for admission. It typically takes about 10 minutes. Be sure to select your employer or organization on the application form.
Earn credit for your education and eligible experience: Submit your official transcripts from any previous institutions of higher education.
Register for classes: Once you're admitted to UMGC, you will receive a student ID (EmplID) so you can register for courses online. Check the schedule of classes to view courses, and then register for classes online using the MyUMGC Student Portal.
