Earn an RN-to-BSN Degree Online from UMGC

Advance Your Nursing Career with an Online RN-to-BSN Program

Earn a CCNE-accredited bachelor's degree through the RN-to-BSN online program at University of Maryland Global Campus. Our curriculum in the Nursing for Registered Nurses program is career-relevant and designed with input from employers and industry experts. At UMGC, you can

  • Transfer up to 90 credits, which includes your active unencumbered RN license and prior coursework, toward your BSN. 
  • Study theory, learn real-world applications, and gain skills you can apply right away. 
  • Build on your established clinical and practical experiences. 
  • Prepare for career advancement in clinical research or public health nursing or for graduate study in nursing. 

This degree is only open to students with an associate degree in nursing.1 Students must reside and have an active, unencumbered nursing license in an approved state at the time of admission and throughout the completion of the program.2
