University of Maryland Global Campus has partnered with the Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences (FAES), the education arm of the National Institutes of Health. Through this partnership, eligible students may transfer credit from their FAES courses toward specific graduate-level courses at UMGC. The programs that apply to these courses are as follows:
- Master of Science in Biotechnology
- Master of Science in Data Analytics
- Graduate Certificate in Bioinformatics
The partnership only allows for the transfer of six credits toward the Master's degree programs and three credits toward the graduate certificate program. Please note that it may take up to three FAES courses to transfer in lieu of a UMGC course.
