UMGC students and recent graduates with disabilities are invited to participate in the Department of Labor's Workforce Recruitment Program by signing up for interviews with WRP recruiters, to be held this fall.

Information from these candidate interviews is compiled in a searchable database that is available through the WRP website to federal human resources specialists, Equal Employment Opportunity specialists, and other hiring officials in federal agencies.

The WRP serves as a pipeline for bringing new talent among students and recent graduates with disabilities into the federal government. Participating in the WRP is an excellent way to

  • Find an internship or permanent position at a federal agency
  • Explore careers in the federal service
  • Gain interviewing experience

Registration for the program is open through October 17. Once registration closes, personnel from Accessibility Services will contact eligible candidates to schedule interview appointments.

For more information, go to the WRP website or contact Accessibility Services at or 240-684-2287.
