LGBTQ+ Pride Month Event

Cultivating a Culture of Belongingness Within Higher Ed

Join the UMGC community for a conversation with Jose Cadiz, director of the Office of Intercultural Affairs and LGBTQ+ Resource Center at Howard University in Washington, D.C. The discussion will focus on techniques colleges and universities are using to develop inclusive programming that ensures the success of LGBTQ+ students and creates spaces where all students, faculty, and staff feel welcomed, safe, supported, and valued.

A moderated Q & A session will follow, and attendees are encouraged to participate with questions and their own cultural insights.
