Public Wireless: No-Cost Tablet & Internet Access for Eligible Students

At University of Maryland Global Campus, we are committed to our students and their success. As part of this commitment, we aim to provide our learners with resources outside of the classroom. In our conversations with students, we hear many stories of perseverance and sometimes come across students who face challenges with finances, technology, and internet access. We are pleased to have partnered with Public Wireless to provide a free tablet device and 4G internet for eligible students.

Through this program, eligible students who enroll will receive the following at no cost:

  • A 10” WiFi-capable Android tablet with charger
  • A 4G SIM card
  • Technical support provided by the program

The tablet is yours to keep (limit one per household).

Please note: Public Wireless is equipped to ship to locations in the United States (no APO/DPO overseas addresses).
