Course Desc: Recommended: GERO 100. An overview of the administrative and operational issues of long-term care facilities. The aim is to identify common forms of long-term care and articulate the responsibilities of a long-term care administrator. Relationships with personnel and administrative structure are examined. Topics include policy, procedures, insurance, and financing. Discussion also covers the ethical and legal concerns of long-term care.
