Environmental Regulations and Policy

ENMT 303 | 3 Credits

Course Desc: An analysis of the development and implementation of the principles of constitutional and administrative law that are fundamental to both environmental management and health and safety management. The goal is to use information literacy skills to locate applicable policies, laws, and regulations and to apply knowledge of process and regulatory communication systems for effective environmental management. Emphasis is on federal legislation and the use of the Federal Register and Code of Federal Regulations. Discussion covers the relationship between regulations and public policy at local, state, and federal levels. Students may receive credit for only one of the following courses: ENMT 303 or ENMT 493.
