Criminal Justice Intelligence Systems and Approaches

CJMS 640 | 3 Credits

Course Desc: Prerequisites: CJMS 600 and CJMS 610. An in-depth examination of the principles that guide the gathering and sharing of intelligence in the United States. Emphasis is on the interoperability between crime-fighting agencies within the criminal justice system. Topics include analytic methodologies, interview and interrogation techniques, open-source and proprietary data sources, criminal organization analysis, criminal conspiracy, enterprise theory, trial testimony, and witness protection.
