Criminalistics II: The Scientific Disciplines

Course Desc: Prerequisite: CCJS 301. Further intensive study of the analysis of physical evidence in the crime laboratory, with practical laboratory exercises. The goal is to apply skills expected of an entry-level criminalist to the practical analysis of evidence in a criminal investigation. Topics include the applications of the scientific disciplines, including bloodstain pattern analysis, questioned document analysis, controlled dangerous substances analysis, and DNA analysis.
