Small Business Management

BMGT 335 | 3 Credits

Course Desc: Recommended: BMGT 317.A comprehensive review of the management principles underlying organizational development and growth and business life-cycle segments of emerging enterprises. The goal is to demonstrate an understanding of small business management in a global context, differentiate between micro- and macro-organizational structures, and identify the critical elements of business sustainability. Topics include entrepreneurship, financing/capitalization, innovation, and human resource and strategic planning. Core components of small business management are explored and evaluated through a multifaceted approach.
